How Do I Determine The Length Of The Downstem?
If you already have a matching downstem, then measure the overall length of the stem directly to get the size of the bong stem length. If your bong doesn't come with a matching stem, you can measure it with a pencil (any thin, straight object will do) by inserting the pencil into the inner cavity of the water pipe, leaving about 1-2cm of space from the bottom of the cavity to prevent clogging at the bottom. Mark with the pencil where the end of the fitting meets the inside of the water pipe. Remove and measure the length so that you can choose the right stem length.
